MCGS-MSME Scheme Modified — Service Sector Now Included,
Equipment Cost Threshold Reduced
The Mutual Credit Guarantee Scheme for MSMEs has been
updated based on feedback. Key changes: 5% upfront
contribution is now refundable (1% per year from Year 4),
service sector MSMEs are now included, and the minimum
equipment cost threshold has been reduced from 75% to 60%
of project cost.
